Messing about on the River

Friends of Marks came to stay - Martin & Julia so we got the excuse we needed to act like tourists and hire a boat for an hour. Martins excitment was infectious hahaha! Martin is a budding film producer so I made sure all my acting skills were used to impress him - not sure it worked Posted by Picasa

Bikes

I'm not sure this is the right way to actually ride a bike, but I did manage to get on the seat after the obstacles and mud! Shame that I had a puncture then managed to cycle 2 yards and get another one straight away - I could see a very long taxi ride ahead. Posted by Picasa

The George & Dragon Chacombe

One of Dev's last nights in the UK, just a quiet drink at the pub. The night was made by Jordan our 10 year old waiter who was showing off his entreprenarial skills, selling cigars and cigarettes - how wrong. Classic comment from Dev as Jodan tried to clear his plate away "don't touch my shit". I think he was a little tired and emotional! Posted by Picasa

Not quite the Bahamas

Hope cove was really warm, and I was determined to go for a swim in the sea - something I had not managed all year. But it was VERY cold and only managed about 1 minute underwater! Great ending to a great weekend though. Thanks Mark for organising, sorry about the sand in the car! Posted by Picasa

Give me Hope

Last day in Devon and the weather was perfect for the beach. We went down to Hope Cove which was beautiful, and because it was September surprisingly quiet. Mark went off to find limpets and starfish - boys never grown up! Posted by Picasa

All shook up......

[Post by Mark....] Having rolled a double six the previous night, I had my work cut out during this game of s-BackGammon. Anyway I had a good shake and ended up winning the game by a fair number of points. The score ended up M 4 S 1 but hey it's all about taking part (as long as I win). Thanks for being a good LOSER. Just good friends!

Salcombe today. Very chilled, doing a sum total of nothing. Nearly had a bit of a problem when the ferry got stuck in the mud due to a very low tide, but all the crew, i.e. us, helped shift it! To recover we spent a couple of hours watching the yatching crowd on the beach - and in the process learned a useful tip on how to not get sand in your wet suit - it involves a plastic bag! Finished the day at Hope Cove watching the tide come in. Posted by Picasa

Living in Sarah's Shadow

(Post by Mark).... Having tried to compete all day with the lovely Sarah I finally gave up and decided to live in her shadow. Here's me trying to jump in - I'm the (tall) good looking one on the right.....she's the cheeky blonde on the left....thanks for a great day and sorry about the bike rack....love Mark x Posted by Picasa

Life's a Beach

Bigbury-on-Sea on a breezy September Day. We walked to the island but nearly got caught out by the rapid incoming tide! Thankfully there was a hunky lifeguard to make sure we got back to the mainland safely. Here's me jumping for joy as I am safe! Posted by Picasa

Royal Windsor Wheel

Last Night Mark treated me to a champagne VIP trip on the wheel in Windsor! This led to a great night on the town, finishing with a curry - wish I hadn't done that. But thanks Mark for a top night! Posted by Picasa
