Rocky Valley

A little further up the coast is this place - very well named as it is indeed a Rocky Valley that drops straight into the sea. For some reason it reminded me of The Strid at Bolton Abbey

Bassiney Haven - sounds quite Lord of the Ringd too! This is my local beach, and very beautiful it is too. It's about 1 mile from the flat, a lovely walk along the coast. Even though it was only April there were people sunbathing , and I was very tempted to join them, but I had to get to Boscastle.

It's been mad since I moved but found time on Saturday to go for a walk to Boscastle along the coast. Just down from the village I came across this little lovelies!

Welcome to Chamonix

So we all got here safe, shame the rep decided to hide in a cave so we had fun and games trying to actually find the bloody place! However all was saved by Cousin Janet. Who led us to safety, after 4 pints she realised that the Valley Blanche was not a bar, but a very dangerous off piste run. More to follow.......
