In complete contrast the north coast was still sunny but there was evidence of yesterdays storm in the massive waves. This was taken at Bedruthen steps on the way from Newquay to Tintagel.
Well some of you will know why this picture was taken on Sunday in Cornwall! The weather was a little different from the Saturday where I had been lashed by gales and really bad rain. I'd driven all over the county and seen some very different ways of living. It's strange how you can end up in your very own bubble of the way things are. But Cornwall was it's usual lovely self - even in the terrible storms. It was strange to wake up on the Sunday and see the blue skies, so I took the opportunity to go to the south coast.

So you all think it's a life of sunbathing on the side of the slopes - well not quite - 135K winds, -13 and can't see a bloody thing, but the tourists we are we were on the hill to celebrate New Year!
